The Memphis Restorative Justice Coalition provides training through the Memphis Restorative Justice Institute:

• Restorative Justice Training 

  • Introduction to Restorative Practices and Using Circles Effectively/Facilitating Restorative Conferences

  • Virtual Trainings will begin in December 2020. 

    • Training is now 1-day for 4.5 hours​ and includes breaks.

    • Traditional Training to count as "Training of Trainers" prerequisite is still offered, but must follow the 2-day format.

• Implicit Bias Training

  • Breaking Barriers:  Tools for Creating Equitable Communities of Practice​

  • There are options for 2 day or a 1 day bootcamp 

​

• Public Comment/Testimony Training​

  • Voice Power:  Strategies for Engaging Elected Officials

  • 3 Hour Training​

Training is available only groups/staff, but events will be announced for individuals to join a training soon. Our Restorative Justice trainers are certified through the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
